Hello, my name is Noel Kim and today I want to talk about what I have learned during this week. This week, it was the busiest week because I had to complete my Pre-Calculus project by Friday. My math project was about getting equations and graphs for a Ferris Wheel. I got this project 3 weeks ago but I started this week which made me more difficult. I really worked hard on this project because my grade in math is not that good. During the process of the project, I learned various mathematic things that gave me something. I learned how to draw a graph of Ferris Wheel and I learned how to establish equation for Ferris Wheel. Learning these things wasn’t that fun because it is studying; however, I felt development of myself by learning this. Also, the looking at the final product made me to feel very satisfied.

1. Shopping
2. Eat Korean food
3. Study for AP test
4. Met whole family

The best thing that I did during is shopping. I was always willing to buy new clothes but I couldn't because I didn't have enough money. However in Korea, I realized that mother could buy me some clothes. I asked her and she bought me some good clothes. My sister was jealous of it but I feel really great. When Summer break comes, I am going to buy more clothes.

The worst thing I had to do during the break is to study for AP test. I have a impending AP Physics1 test this May so I have to be ready. I heard that getting 5 on AP Physic1 is very hard. Because of that I had to study very hard and I went to academy every day. However, I feel that I developed a little and I also think that I will do well on my AP test.

My Future

My future will start right after I graduate Webb School. I must go to good university to achieve my dream and to have successful life. I will get to a college that has good science education and study for 4 years. While I am in the college, I must go to Korean military because it is mandatory for every Korean man. After I graduate college, I am going to study about business. After I learn everything, I will get into good engineering or IT company and work for a long time. I will earn a lot of money by working and acquire big and fancy house in New York or L.A. or another big city. Since I’m living in countryside right now, I want to live at place where there is something fun to do. I will become older and I will exercise and work out every day to stay healthy. Lastly, I will die.

We arrived on this land, and we had to find the way to live through this new world so, we have communicated with Indians and started growing crops. After we arrived on this land, we have worked hard to harvest several crops, and finally, today is the day that we are going to harvest our crops. We feel so great and happy to get tons of food and it is thankful thing to God. We are going to have a thanksgiving party tomorrow night with foods that we will harvest. Also, we will have a long break for farmers who have worked hard for a year and also give them some energy to change for works for next year. I wish that thanksgiving will be great and I will wait for Christmas which is my birthday.

Fall is beautiful season. One of my favorite things about fall is that it is neither hot nor cold. Mixture of two opposite season, which is summer and winter, makes temperature very fine. Very cold weather makes people to shiver from wind and very hot weather makes us to sweat a lot and feel bad. However, during the fall, we don’t have to shiver in the cold weather and we also don’t have to sweat. Fall also has a good appearance. There are many beautiful maple trees. Their leaves fall down from trees and make ground reddish. This reddish ground and reddish trees makes this beautiful scene. Even though there are many great things my most favorite thing is fall break. School gives us fall break when 1^st quarter ends. There is fall so there is separation of quarters and there are fall break which makes me to have good rest.

WHAT IF...

If we get root beer instead of milk from cows, there will be no milk. We mostly get milk from cows but now, they started to produce root beer and there will be no milk. If there are no milk, there will be no cereal. People use milk to make cereals but if there are no milk there will be no cereal. It is like pants and belt. If there are no cereal, general breakfast for Americans will change to muffin or hamburger. These foods have lots of fats in it and most of the American will be super fat. When they become super fat, many Americans will have adult diseases and they will die earlier. U.S population will decrease and their economy will also decrease. There will be not many soldiers for military and America’s power will also decrease. And then, Korea will become greatest country in the world. Korea will dominate all over the world and everything happens because of cows stop to produce milk.

My habit

There are a lot of things that can describe me. However today, I want to choose basketball as my habit because it was the biggest part in my life.

When, I was 4th grade my best friend asked me to join his basketball team. I was very nervous at that time because it was my first time to play basketball. I went to gym to play basketball. When I played first time, I felt boring because we only practiced shooting. At that time, I didn't know that basketball will become my favorite sport. When it became 2years after I played basketball, match was held with another team. I had played games with my friends a lot but it was my first time to play with others. I messed up with that game and we lost. That was a moment that I started to do basketball more seriously. Before we had that game, I didn’t like going to practice but something inside me waked up and said to work hard. I practiced harder than before and 2years after our team win first place on contest. After winning the contest, I injured my shoulder and I couldn’t play basketball harshly. This decreased my basketball ability a lot, Since I used to play in center, it was impossible for me to be center anymore. Now, I always care about my condition and body when I play basketball but it is still my favorite sport and also I love to play it.
